Emergency power cuts introduced in and around Ukraine's Kyiv, energy provider DTEK says

​Emergency ‌power cuts ​were introduced in ‌the Ukrainian capital Kyiv and ‌in the ‌surrounding region, private energy provider ⁠DTEK ​said ⁠on Friday.

The company ⁠said in ​a statement that ⁠it was ⁠acting ​on orders from national ⁠grid operator Ukrenergo.
