Singapore to amend haze law to widen investigation powers
Singapore's environment minister said on Wednesday that proposed amendments to a transboundary haze law will provide the government with more tools to investigate and restrict entities found accountable for pollution.
Under the revised law, the government will also be able to restrict companies from engaging in business activities with entities with suspected links to haze pollution in Singapore, minister Grace Fu told parliament.
