Romania to reconnect one of its two nuclear power reactors on Nov. 6

Romanian state ‌owned nuclear power producer Nuclearelectrica said ‌on Wednesday it will reconnect one of its two reactors ‌to the national ‌grid on Nov. 6 and bring it to full capacity by the following day.

Record low levels of the Danube river, used as coolant, prompted the shut down of the two reactors in late July and early August, respectively. The two units account for a fifth of Romania's power ‌output.
