China's Standing Committee of the National People's Congress passes cross-border corruption law

​China's ‌Standing Committee ​of the ‌National People's Congress has adopted a ‌law to combat cross-border ‌corruption, state news agency Xinhua ⁠said ​on Friday.

The ⁠law is aimed ⁠at preventing and ​punishing cross-border corruption, deepening ⁠international anti-corruption cooperation and ⁠safeguarding ​China's sovereignty and ⁠security, the report said.
