Two flights land safely in Sofia after bomb threats
Two passenger aircraft arriving in Bulgaria from London and Brussels landed safely at Sofia Airport on Friday after bomb threats were received by email, Bulgarian media reported, as a wave of similar threats disrupted air traffic across Europe.
The aircraft were searched by border police and security teams after the threats were reported, Bulgaria's Transport Ministry told broadcaster Nova TV, but no suspicious items were found.
