Minnesota enters 3-year contract with Dewar

The Minnesota Wild on Tuesday announced the signing of forwarding Connor Dewar to a three-year entry-level contract which begins next season. The Wild selected Dewar, 19, in the third round of the entry draft last summer.

In 52 games with the Everett (Wash.) Silvertips of the Western Hockey League, Dewar has 34 goals (eight game-winners) and 41 assists with a plus-25 rating. The 5-foot-11, 176-pound Gilbert Plains, Manitoba, native is also captain of the Silvertips.
