The United States representatives and Taliban negotiators on Tuesday, March 12 wrapped up their latest round of peace talks, with progress made but no agreement on when foreign troops might withdraw, sources said. The talks, in which the US also sought assurances that the Taliban will not use Afghanistan to stage attacks, are expected to continue later in March.

However, as per other local sources, both the parties have drafted an agreement on some key issues under debates. There has been an agreement on the withdrawal of the US forces from Afghanistan. On the other hand, Taliban has agreed to discontinue bondage with all Islamic terrorist groups and fundamentalists including al-Qaeda, as reported by Tolo News.
