Toronto Maple Leafs forward Kasperi Kapanen will miss Wednesday night's game against the Chicago Blackhawks due to a concussion, the team announced. Kapanen, 22, sat out Toronto's 6-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday for precautionary reasons.
Kapanen is having a breakout season and ranks fifth on the team with 42 points (19 goals, 23 assists) in 68 games. A first-round pick by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2014 (22nd overall), Kapanen had seven goals and two assists in 38 games in 2017-18.
