Lidington urge MPs to see annoyance in EU lawmakers for not securing Brexit

Britain's parliament should not underestimate the level of exasperation in the European Union over lawmakers' inability to agree on how to leave the bloc and approve a divorce deal, cabinet office minister David Lidington said on Thursday.

Parliament should not "underestimate the degree of exasperation that there is, not just in the EU institutions but in the democratic governments of the member states of the European Union at the inability of this House (of Commons) to decide what it is that it is prepared to get behind," he told parliament.
