Denver Nuggets forward Torrey Craig left Wednesday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers with what the team called a nasal contusion. The team labelled Craig as questionable to return, and he came back late in the third quarter wearing a face mask and with both nostrils stuffed.

The TNT broadcast team initially said Craig was ruled out with a broken nose, adding that he was getting X-rays to determine if there were any other broken bones in his face. However, the broadcast later amended its report to match the Nuggets' announcement of Craig having a bruise and not being ruled out for the rest of the game. Craig was hurt in the second quarter when he went up for a rebound and collided with Portland's Zach Collins. Craig then fell face first into the back of teammate Monte Morris' leg. He went to the court bleeding profusely and was helped to the locker room.

Craig, 28, entered Wednesday averaging 6.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in eight postseason games, including five starts since getting moved into the lineup ahead of Will Barton. He averaged 5.7 points and 3.5 rebounds in 75 regular-season games (37 starts).
