Polish authorities cannot disrespect constitution on every other day -EU's Tusk

Polish authorities cannot celebrate the constitution once a year and disrespect it on every other day, European Council President Donald Tusk said during a visit to Warsaw on Friday.

The former Polish prime minister spoke on the occasion of Poland's Constitution Day. The European Union has begun a legal procedure against Poland over changes to its judicial system by the governing nationalist party that EU officials say undermine the democratic separation of powers and the rule of law.
