French-speaking mayor from various countries to attend AIMF meet in Kigali

Rwanda's capital, Kigali has organized a four-day meeting that witnesses over 100 mayors from French-speaking cities across the planet.
The mayors are said to be visiting Rwanda and attend the 89th meeting of the Bureau of the International Association of French-speaking mayors (Association internationale des Maires Francophones – AIMF), an organization to which they are members. Anne Hidalgo, the President of the association and Mayor of Paris is also attending the meeting among other prominent mayors.
The meeting in Rwanda's capital, Kigali is going to witness around 19 cities from across the planet. Mayors attending the meeting in Kigali include those from Montreal (Canada), Bordeaux (France), Libreville (Gabon), Abidjan (Ivory Coast), Dakar (Senegal), Brazzaville (Congo) and Liege (Belgium). The discussions will be focussed on urban development in the East African country's reconstruction, unity and reconciliation process including keeping the memory of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
Anne Hidalgo will also ink an agreement of cooperation between Paris and City of Kigali, the event is slated to take place on Monday afternoon. She will also visit The Kigali Genocide Memorial and meet officials at the umbrella organisation of Genocide survivors, Ibuka, and the National Commission for the Fight against Genocide (CNLG), as reported by The New Times.
Apart from the mayors from above-mentioned places, others will also come from Nantes (France), Nouakchott (Mauritania), Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso), Paris (France), Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe), Port-au- Prince (Haiti), Port-Louis (Ile Maurice), Saint Denis (La Réunion), Strasbourg (France) and Ziguinchor (Senegal).
