A leadership contender for Britain's Conservative Party who fails to win the backing of more than 10 MPs next week could be eliminated after the first round of voting under plans to be discussed by backbenchers on Tuesday, The Telegraph reported on Monday.
Under a proposed timetable to accelerate the process, four rounds of voting among Conservative MPs are planned with the final two candidates selected by June 20, the report said.
