Brazil's Economy Minister Paulo Guedes will not attend the G20 summit this week in Osaka and Deputy Minister Marcelo Guaranys will stand in for him, presidential spokesman General Otavio Rego Barros said on Tuesday.
Guedes is working to get his fiscally-crucial pension reform bill put to the vote in the lower house of Congress before lawmakers go into recess July 18. Rego Barros said the chances of that vote taking place before they were "very positive."
