Cluster redevelopment scheme mooted for Bhiwandi: Minister

Thane Guardian Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday said a cluster development scheme will be implemented in Bhiwandi on the lines of the one for Thane city, and asked the powerloom town's civic chief to submit a proposal on it in three months.

He was speaking at a function to disburse government aid to kin of 38 people who died in the Jhilani building collapse in September last year.
