COVID-19: Thane, KDMC civic bodies recover Rs 3.2 L in fines

The Thane Municipal corporation on Monday said it had collected Rs 1.52 lakh in fines from COVID-19 norm violators, including 305 people who were not wearing masks despite it being compulsory.

The Kalyan Dombivali civic body said 357 people had been penalised in the last three days for not wearing masks and fines to the tune of Rs 1.78 lakh were collected.
