Biden confirms veterans agency will require COVID-19 vaccinations for staff
U.S. President Joe Biden on Monday confirmed media reports that the federal Veterans Affairs agency will require COVID-19 vaccinations for employees.
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs will mandate that more than 100,000 of its frontline health care workers be vaccinated against the coronavirus in the next two months, making it the first federal agency to impose such a requirement, the New York Times reported earlier, citing government officials.
