The Anti-Corruption Bureau team on Friday arrested a state government employee for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 1 lakh, officials said.

The accused has been identified as Subhash Saharan, regional deputy director of the Agriculture Marketing Department in Hanumangarh town. According to the statement issued by ACB here, the complainant accused Saharan of demanding a bribe amount of Rs 1 lakh in lieu of preparing a report to get a rebate in a government scheme.

Taking action on the complaint, the bureau team caught Saharan red-handed on Friday while taking the bribe from the complainant.
