Four wildlife species -- Marmoset Monkey Young --allegedly smuggled into India from Thailand was recovered at the airport here, the Customs department said on Tuesday.
Acting on specific inputs, the authorities intercepted a passenger on his arrival from Bangkok and made the recovery, a press release from the Customs department said.
The Marmoset Monkey Young were kept in the baggage of the passenger. The wildlife species were certified by a wildlife inspector, Wildlife Crime Control Bureau and an investigation was on, the release said.
