Kohler India Embraces Equity at Pecha Kucha Event 2023

Kohler India celebrated its 11th year of Pecha Kucha event on 10th March 2023 in Hyderabad, attended by the top names of A&D Community.

The event, titled 'Embracing Equity', focused on the importance of gender equity in the architecture and interior design community. The event featured six prominent speakers from different cities including Kohler's own Laura Kohler as well as Vasundhara Sampath from Phylosophy Design, Asha Kushalappa from DWP, Vaishali Sharma from FD Design, Shami Goregaoker from GA Design and Rupanna Reddy from NA Architects.

The discussion during the event covered a range of issues that resonate with women in the architecture and interior design community. The topics discussed included the need for an inclusive approach towards design, the history and future of women in architecture, and strategies for creating a more equitable future within the workforce. The speakers shared their experiences and insights on practicing equity-based initiatives in the workplace, while setting aside biases and judgments.
