BFM TV reports French government will avoid pension vote in parliament

The French government will invoke special constitutional powers to push through changes to the pension system without a vote in parliament, BFM TV reported on Thursday.

Proceedings in the lower house are due to open at 1400 GMT.

The Elysee Palace did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
