Blinken calls for accountability in Ethiopian conflict

Members of the Ethiopian National Defense Forces, Eritrean Defense Forces, TPLF and Amhara forces committed war crimes during the conflict in Ethiopia, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken told reporters at a briefing on Monday.

The top U.S. diplomat's comments come following his trip to Ethiopia last week, where he praised progress in implementing a peace deal in the country but stopped short of readmitting it to a U.S. trade program.
