Italy's economy could grow more than expected, minister says
Italy's gross domestic product (GDP) could grow at a faster rate than estimated by the government in November, Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti told parliament on Thursday.
The Treasury set last year a growth target of 0.6% this year and 1.9% in 2024.
"Growth targets set by the government could be reached or exceeded," Giorgetti said.
