SC issues notice to Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje and son Dushyant Singh

Supreme Court issues notice to Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and her son Dushyant Singh on a plea seeking registration of FIR against them for allegedly getting compensation of Rs 1.97 crore by selling government land to NHAI for widening a national highway in 2010.

Earlier as per the petition filed, Vasundhara Raje was not a public servant at the time of the alleged commission of the offence in 2010 and was LoP. The petition alleged CM Vasundhara Raje and her son claimed ownership of a 567 square metre of land near Dholpur Palace and sold it to NHAI for Rs 1.97 crore
