Some of the actions of UK water companies 'completely unacceptable' - minister

Some of the actions of British water companies are "completely unacceptable" and the government has set out plans to address them, junior environment minister Rebecca Pow said on Wednesday.

"I'm not saying that there is not a lot of scope where improvements can still be made ... some of the actions of companies are completely unacceptable," Pow told parliament during a discussion on the water industry's finances.
