Greek PM says peace process in Middle East should resume

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis told a Cairo Peace Summit on Saturday that a peace process over the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians should resume on the basis of a two-state solution.
"No military intervention can replace a viable political solution," Mitsotakis added, during the summit which is being held in Egypt as Israel prepares a ground assault on Gaza following Hamas' attack that killed 1,400 people.
