Fed's Barr says he believes central bank at or near peak of interest rates

U.S. Federal Reserve Vice Chair for Supervision Michael Barr said Friday that he believes the Fed is at or near the peak of interest rates.

Barr said recent data suggests the Fed was moving into a "better balance" on monetary policy, which was "quite encouraging."
