China foreign ministry says maintaining communication on meeting with South Korea, Japan

China, Japan and South Korea are maintaining communications for a potential trilateral meeting, the Chinese foreign ministry said on Tuesday at a regular press briefing.

"China thinks trilateral cooperation is in the common interests of the three parties," a spokesperson for China's foreign ministry said.
