China seeks in-depth cooperation with Japan, South Korea

China looks forward to working with South Korea and Japan to promote the in-depth development of trilateral cooperation, the Chinese foreign ministry said on Wednesday.

"Trilateral cooperation is in the interest of all three parties," ministry spokesperson Mao Ning told a regular press briefing when asked about a potential meeting among the three countries.
