China's central bank unveils measures to fortify economy

China's central bank on Monday said it will fend off systemic financial risks to the economy and guide financial institutions to actively and prudently support resolving local debt risks.

In its third quarter policy implementation report, the central bank also said prudent monetary policy will be forceful and precise, and that it will better support expanding domestic demand, unveiling a basket of measures seeking to bolster the economy.
