African Development Bank approves $131 mln loan to Egypt

The African Development Bank said on Monday it had approved a $131 million loan to Egypt to boost the country's business environment as it recovers from some external shocks brought by the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine.

The bank said in a statement the loan will "promote private sector development and economic diversification".
