The Philippines will hold a press conference on Tuesday on mediated talks between the government and communist rebels, an official of a leftist group said.
Ricardo Lozano, media officer of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines, the political wing of the Communist Party of the Philippines, said the briefing would announce the outcome of talks that took place on Nov. 23, including possible resumption of peace negotiations.
The peace process was abandoned in 2017 under the last Philippine government.
