China, Ireland "on same page" on a lot of issues, Premier Li says

Chinese Premier Li Qiang said on Wednesday that he had candid meetings with Ireland's prime minister and president during a visit to Dublin and that the two countries were "very much on the same page" on many issues.

"This morning President (Michael D) Higgins and Prime Minister (Leo) Varadkar had friendly exchanges with me. Our conversation has been candid and we're very much on the same page on a lot of issues," Li said in a speech through an interpreter.
