France is in no position to tell whether or not assertions made by Russian officials according to which Ukraine was behind this week's fatal crash of a Russian military aircraft are true, a spokesperson for the foreign ministry in Paris said.
"Russia has accustomed us to lying on these matters", deputy Foreign Ministry spokesperson Christophe Lemoine told reporters in a weekly briefing.
