Germany's Scholz noncommittal on Taurus missiles for Ukraine

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, when asked on Saturday whether his government would supply Taurus missiles to Ukraine, said Germany was doing everything to help Ukraine defend itself and that decisions would be taken at the right time.

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, Scholz also said Germany was asking Israel to abide by international law in the conflict in Gaza and not to open a second front on its northern border with Lebanon. He also said it should be made impossible for Iran to exploit the conflict to expand its influence.
