Indonesia's presumed president Prabowo awarded highest military honour

Indonesia's outgoing president on Wednesday awarded Prabowo Subianto, his presumed successor and an ex-special forces commander, the highest military honour of a four-star honorary general.
Prabowo won the Feb. 14 election, according to unofficial vote tallies and an ongoing preliminary count by the poll body. He was honourably discharged from the military more than two decades ago amid allegations of human rights abuses.
