Angola’s Migration and Foreigners Service expels more than 1000 illegal foreigners

At least 1110 foreign nationals were expelled from Angola in the last week by the Migration and Foreigners Service (SME), 304 more people in relation to the previous seven days. According to a balance report of the SME, which ANGOP had access on December 12, the expulsion took place due to the administrative and judicial decision.

Due to prevention, control and combating illegal immigration, 774 citizens of various nationalities were arrested for the unauthorized stay, lack of working visas, immigration assistance and involvement in religious acts considered illegal.

Another 90 were notified and invited to leave the country, due to illegal stay, applied and paid 90 fines by people of various nationalities and companies.
