Sweden orders $506 mln worth of armoured vehicles from Finland's Patria
Sweden has placed a 5.3 billion crown ($506 million) order with Patria Land Oy for 321 armoured all-terrain vehicles, the Swedish defence material agency said in a statement on Wednesday. Patria Land is 50.1% owned by the Finnish state and 49.9% by Norway's Kongsberg Gruppen. A Swedish Defence Materiel Administration spokesperson said deliveries from Patria will start this year and continue through 2030. Deliveries to the Swedish armed forces from the agency will start in 2025.
