White House: No decisions on American military support in Haiti

The White House said on Wednesday that no decisions have been made on whether the U.S. military might be needed to help evacuate Americans from Haiti.

White House national security spokesperson John Kirby, briefing reporters on Air Force One on President Joe Biden's flight from Phoenix to Dallas, said there had been "no decisions one way or the other right now about any kind of American military support."
