Brazil's Finance Minister Fernando Haddad said on Wednesday that the country's presidency of the G20 wants to foster international consensus on the taxation of wealth and will discuss a joint declaration at the group's next meeting in July.
Speaking on the sidelines of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank spring meetings, he urged countries to seek more creative initiatives for this kind of taxation, adding that without international cooperation, "those at the top will continue to evade taxes."
