Philippines, New Zealand eye visiting forces deal, concerned with South China Sea

Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon said their countries were committed to signing a status of forces agreement, according to a joint statement.

Both leaders, after a bilateral meeting, have also expressed serious concern over developments in the South China Sea.
