The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, presented 2 Padma Vibhushan, 9 Padma Bhushan, and 56 Padma Shri Awards for the year 2024 during the Civil Investiture Ceremony-II held today in the grand Darbar Hall of Rashtrapati Bhawan.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including the Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, as well as many other Union Ministers and dignitaries.

Following the investiture, Shri Amit Shah hosted a dinner at his residence in New Delhi, where he and other Union Ministers had the opportunity to interact with the Padma Awardees.

Tomorrow morning (May 10, 2024), the awardees are scheduled to pay homage at the National War Memorial. They will also tour the Rashtrapati Bhawan and the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya as part of their engagements in the capital.
