Nigeria working out date for Eurobond issuance, finance minister says

Nigeria is working out a date for a Eurobond issuance, Finance Minister Wale Edun said on Tuesday.

Africa's most populous nation, tapped the Eurobond market last in 2022 with a $1.25 billion issue, and has been borrowing from international creditors, including the World Bank. Edun said in March that the government was

looking at proposals for an international debt sale and that cheaper interest rates was making a likely issuance more affordable.
