New Zealand has committed to supporting Papua New Guinea (PNG) in the aftermath of a devastating landslide in Enga Province. Foreign Minister Winston Peters and Defence Minister Judith Collins have outlined New Zealand's assistance plan, which includes:

Deployment of NZDF C-130 Aircraft: The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) will send a C-130 aircraft to deliver essential relief supplies to the affected communities.

Technical Expertise: New Zealand will provide technical expertise in geo-hazards and emergency management to assist PNG in addressing the disaster.
