Four Arrested in Navi Mumbai for Attempted Murder Over Rs 100 Dispute

Police registered an FIR against four individuals in Navi Mumbai for allegedly attempting to kill a 25-year-old man after a dispute over Rs 100, an official confirmed Sunday.

The altercation occurred on Friday night when the victim, an employee at a Turbhe dairy products company, was returning home.

According to Turbhe police, an accused demanded Rs 100 for food, which the victim refused. The dispute escalated, leading the accused and three accomplices to attack the man with a large stone and iron rod, resulting in severe injuries.

The victim was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Police registered a case under Indian Penal Code sections 307 (attempt to murder), 34 (common intention), and 504 (intentional insult to provoke breach of peace) following the victim’s complaint.
