The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Punjab Police spearheaded the operations, conducting 794 intelligence-based raids throughout various cities in the province over the past month. These efforts successfully led to the capture of suspected terrorists affiliated with banned organisations, including ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.

The arrests took place in several cities, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Narowal, Sialkot, Khaniwal, Mandi Bahauddin, Jhang, Rahim Yar Khan, and Bahawalpur. From the suspects, the CTD seized significant amounts of explosives, firearms, and banned literature. Those apprehended are currently undergoing interrogation and will be prosecuted in court.
