Seven Officials Booked for Illegal Land Conversion in Gujarat

The FIR, lodged on May 31, lists various former taluka development officers (TDOs), mamlatdars, and revenue clerks from Jambughoda taluka, detailing their involvement in the unauthorized conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use without paying the necessary premiums.

The named officials include former deputy mamlatdar Jagdish Padariya and others. They are charged under sections of the Indian Penal Code for criminal breach of trust, forgery, and conspiracy.
