Noida Police Nab Auto-Lifters; 33 Stolen Vehicles Recovered
Four suspected auto-lifters were arrested by Noida Police, recovering 33 stolen two-wheelers and an e-rickshaw. The arrests followed two separate operations. The suspects, with multiple criminal cases, are notorious for supplying and selling stolen vehicles.

Noida Police made a significant breakthrough in curbing vehicle thefts by arresting four suspected auto-lifters on Saturday. The police recovered 33 stolen two-wheelers and an e-rickshaw from the culprits.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Noida), Vidya Sagar Mishra, announced that the arrests were the result of two meticulously planned operations by officers from the Sector-113 and Sector-39 police stations. A gunfight on Friday night led to the apprehension of Anoop Mavi (50) and Dev Kumar (35), alias Deva, who had 19 motorcycles in their possession.
In a separate incident, Sector-39 police personnel arrested Animesh alias Anni (19) and Shivam (20), recovering 11 motorcycles, three scooters, and an e-rickshaw from them. Both cases unveiled the suspects' extensive criminal records and their modus operandi of supplying and selling stolen vehicles. Mavi alone has 42 cases against him, including robbery and vehicle theft.
