Tragedy Strikes in Naya Gaon: Fire Claims Lives of Two Girls

A devastating fire in Naya Gaon claimed the lives of two young girls and left six family members injured, authorities confirmed on Wednesday.

The blaze erupted in the home of Ramji Jaiswal around 10 pm on Tuesday, rapidly trapping the entire family inside. Nearby residents heard the cries for help and rushed to their aid, successfully rescuing all eight individuals. They promptly reported the incident to the fire brigade and police.

Upon arrival at BRD Medical College, doctors pronounced Anshika, 12, and Kulush, 2, dead, while the others are in critical condition. Superintendent of Police (City) Krishna Kumar Bishnoi revealed that a preliminary investigation indicates the fire was triggered by an electrical short circuit.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident to understand the full cause and potential failings that led to this tragedy.
