Amidst the persistent water and power crises in Delhi, State Minister Atishi and AAP MP Raghav Chadha announced on Thursday that they had met Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, currently lodged in Tihar Jail, to discuss urgent measures to address the problems.

Kejriwal, detained in connection with a money laundering case linked to the excise policy, remains deeply concerned about Delhi's issues. 'Today, I met Kejriwal ji, who is lodged in Tihar jail on a fake case by the central government. He still worries about the people of Delhi more than himself,' Atishi told the media outside Tihar Jail.

'He instructed us to take all necessary steps to overcome the water crisis as soon as possible and directed all AAP legislators to go on the ground to provide water in their areas,' she added. Kejriwal also urged proactive measures to prevent future power crises following a recent fire incident in Uttar Pradesh.

According to Tihar sources, Atishi and Chadha met Kejriwal for half an hour in a visitor's room. On Wednesday, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Kejriwal's wife Sunita also visited him in Tihar.
